toxic relationships?

so i have these friends who relatively recently got together. At first it was a cute kinda thing but now they're pissing everyone off. They never hang out and apparently, the girl half of the relationship is pissing off a few of my friends because she's been acting irresponsible and very much like a jerk. I'm trying to stay out of it but it's hard not to have an opinion.

I have no idea what goes on in thier relationship and I don't really care but I do find it baffling that they're acting like jerks and seem like they don't really want to be friendly anymore.

My whole little group of friends is split and it makes me very sad. It just feels toxic and wrong and sad.

Any advice or insight?

If its really bothering you that much, you could always contact another friend in your circle who knows of the situation and whom you really, really trust and you can bitch about it together. lol
It doesn't harm anyone, you're not telling anyone what to do and you can both vent a little bit. It sounds like being a bitchy gossip, but sometimes we need to process the things going on around us. We all do it. It's ok.

Yup, good advice.

Other than that, there is nothing else you can do...unless you are willing to have some serious drama in your life, which I'm sure you aren't.

thanks. two of my friends have been bitching about it to me and then I go and bitch about the whole thing to my mother. lol

I just hope that the whole thing does blow over and, i actually feel horribly about this, i wouldn't mind if they just broke up. Only because then things would be more normal. well sorta...i'm sure that would probably bring about a different drama.

i'm also wondering if it's normal or healthy to get into a relationship and then act like a bunch of weirdo jerks. that just seems so undesirable...

Who knows what's really goin on with them, it's best to just let it go and be with friends that are acting like real friends.

I mean, think about it. If they are acting like idiots without anyone actually doing anything to them, imagine how they will act if people try to explain to them that they are being jerks.

You just don't need that crap.

Leave them to it. You can't interfere in someone else's relationship. I don't really understand why your other friendships have split as a result of this - perhaps you all need to get together, minus the couple, and agree to have fun without them and to not make them the topic of conversation. It can only go toxic if you all let it. I hope it works out.

well, the split is between the couple and the rest of us. And now all of my friends seem to hate them. I don't really hate them but they have been acting like asses. shrug

Anx

i was in a relationship with someone all my friends HATED (well, except for one person, who loves everyone, ha), and they all just kinda let me do my thing for three years and maybe dropped hints now and then about my beau's assholist ways. When we broke up, I had one friend call to thank me. lol
