Define a bad optometrist.  For me a bad optometrist is one who tries to sell you herbal remedies that you don't need and are of questionable benefit. Also, one who has a bad posture when he takes the measurement to send your lenses to the lab. Personally, I have had very awful ecperiences with ginseng, ginko biloba, eleuthero root(siberian ginseng by another name) and flower essences.[Edited 12/1/06 19:08pm] | |

They are all roots that purportedly enhance concentration and agility of thought. But, they are not regulated by the FDA. So, some manufacturers could easily put in a supplement anything but ginseng. | |
