Temps. have been around the 70's here....and that's unusual for this time of the year. I had the a/c on last night.....December with the fuckin' air on. mad It's even starting to attract these little worm like bugs that are infesting our garage. I can't walk out there without crunching on one of them. ughh shake I'm pretty sure it's the weather that's doing it. They're never out when it's cold out, but the weird thing about that is I never see them in the summer either. confuse I guess they only come out when it's unseasonably warm around this time of the year. I hate them. mad

I just woke up and looked out the window today. omfg

I knew we had sleeting last night and that there was some kind of crazy thunderstorm action earlier this morning.

There's like 3 inches of snow on the ground and there are mini-Slushies falling from the heavens! Who okayed THIS?!?

Wow. I need to turn on the weather forecast more often. redface

How's YOUR weather?

wave Hi, Anx...

I love Chicago!...I'm in the suburbs, but since my daughter had a snow day off from school today, we wanted to stomp around in it at the park on our street. biggrin ...And, I took these of her, with my cellphone, this morning. smile

i'm sure she would have been able to spruce up a nice refrigerator box downtown and sell some of her cheeseballs to passers-by.

We just got past a big (for Seattle) snow/ice storm, which was hell. We had the wettest month on record, as well as record low (and earlier in the month, record high nuts ) temps for this time if year. It has been ickybad.

OMG The wind part of that storm is here. Wind is blowing so hard, it's rattling our apt building. Still raining though, no snow yet.

It snowed for like one or two days here in the Seattle Area. People drove a little to a lot crazy.
And it melted the very next day! Just in time for the weekend! woot!

hug Thank you! smile

And, this winter wonderland that we get is truly beautiful at night, Anx nod So, romantic...As a life long "Chicagoan" it's one thing taht I love most about being here. The change of seasons --- to be able to enjoy all 4, day & night. And, I learned long ago how to be prepared to make each season "bright", as well. biggrin I feel good about this time of year just as much as any other. smile But, if you'd rather snuggle in, that okay too. smile

The snow looks pretty much the same now as it did then. But, because of the cold it's no longer as powdery. Still pretty and fun tho. smile
