as nasty as the weather is right now, i have to admit it's really beautiful out. it's going to be very pretty tonight. i love winter at night, with all the streetlamps shining on the snow and the holiday decorations. i just don't wanna go out in it.

If only that book signing had been today...she might have had to of stayed with you...

Fucking awful, nature is evil.

We just got past a big (for Seattle) snow/ice storm, which was hell. We had the wettest month on record, as well as record low (and earlier in the month, record high ) temps for this time if year. It has been ickybad.

OMG The wind part of that storm is here. Wind is blowing so hard, it's rattling our apt building. Still raining though, no snow yet.

It snowed for like one or two days here in the Seattle Area. People drove a little to a lot crazy.
And it melted the very next day! Just in time for the weekend!

And, this winter wonderland that we get is truly beautiful at night, Anx So, romantic...As a life long "Chicagoan" it's one thing taht I love most about being here. The change of seasons --- to be able to enjoy all 4, day & night. And, I learned long ago how to be prepared to make each season "bright", as well. I feel good about this time of year just as much as any other. But, if you'd rather snuggle in, that okay too.

Drizzly, dark (it's only half four in't afternoon ) and very blooming windy.

The snow looks pretty much the same now as it did then. But, because of the cold it's no longer as powdery. Still pretty and fun tho.

snowed here in minneapolis today too. i'm still in the 'isn't this pretty!' stage. give me a month or so of 'pretty' and i'll move on to grumbling about 'cold'
