It's true though.

I've spent my whole life, down playing myself so I could make the less fortunate feel better about themselves.

It's time to stop that kind of charity work. It's not good for my own soul.

I will live to my full potential, wether it makes others look pitiful, or not.

In that case I totally agree with you, and I think everyone should do the same. I think that's what Rhonda was getting at too. Nobody's actually perfect, but in a way we're all perfect.

As long as you feel like your healthy if you don't feel healthy then you should not embrace your "fat chick".

But on a side weight loss note if you really want to lose weight with ease I suggest you embrace crack rock My formerly fat uncle swears by it...

Just like I remember always making a joke out of myself when something happened bad to someone just to make them feel better. And then I would end up looking like the idiot and I'd get walked on and stuff, and I'm kinda sick of doing that.

There is a reason why the United States is the fattest and unhealthiest nation in the world. We eat crap and we don't exercise. Period.

And then, since we're the US we make excuses (because that's what Americans do) or even WORSE, decide to "embrace being a fat chick".

Good lord.

No one's saying you have to be Paris Hilton, but there's no excuse for being Mo'Nique either. I don't care how proud of her weight she is, she isn't healthy and her weight is going to shorten her lifespan as a result of it.

I was a vegetarian for 12 years and i've been vegan for over a year now. I eat all the time and don't feel hungry. Do i miss some foods that i used to eat? Not that many. But being black and having diabetes run rampant on my father's side of the family, i think it's more important that i'm ALIVE.

So it's very simple. Give up all the fast and fat laden foods. It's not that freaking hard. Exercise. A change in diet and a 30 minute brisk walk every other day would make a significant difference. Smaller freaking proportions.

It's not rocket science, people.
