How come all of a sudden, after hours and hours of work I've gotten already, they are just starting to really hurt and bother me?

And I haven't even done under my armpits yet.

I'll post a picture when it's healed. It's pretty gnarly right now. I got it on the other side of my hip. It's a guilded heart with a key hole in the middle. Me and my friend Wensday got the same ones.
