Do You Like It When Someone Gives You Unsolicited/Unwanted Advice?

I don't, it friggin drives me nuts and gets on my last nerve. My family is very good at giving me advice that I don't need/don't want. rolleyes It's gotten to the point where I've learned to say, "Hey, I'm a grown woman, not a little girl, and I can handle my business just fine without your help." If I want someone's advice, I will ask for it, I don't need someone sticking their nose into my business and telling me what I should or should not be doing. rolleyes Grrrr!!!!! What's your opinion on this?

You can listen and take from it what you find helpful. Or simply let people have their 2 cents and let it go out the other ear. What you decide to do is your call. Plain and simple smile

I never mind people giving me advice.

I'll always listen but it doesn't mean I will take it.

nod True, that is excellent advice. But a lot of times, what people try to tell me is NOT helpful, that's the problem. lol

you know what you should do? stuff your forefingers in both ears, one on each side and chant loudly 'LA LA LA LA LA I'M NOT LISTENING LA LA LA' the next time someone offers you free advice. nod
