I think I look more like my dad than my mom overall. His eye shape and the way one of our eyes gets squintier than the other when we smile and roundness of face and long torso and short legs. I have my mom's hands, though, and there's something in the face that's similar. Maybe our noses... hmmm
As for personality and other traits, I'm much more like my dad as well. For better and for worse. confused

Nothing, actually. Not even when I get home at nights, not even when I'm alone. I just don't feel the urge anymore. Strange, huh?

I read and look out the window. The structure of songs, I think the penny's dropped. Knowing what's coming next kills the joy and I get no pleasure from smug assurance anymore. Musicians are generally really crap thinkers. The rebellion was gobbled by commerce before it had time to take its first breath. It's all designed to pacify and enslave us into another's mentality. And the rest, the Dylan, the Prince, is dust. I'm just bored, baby. Itchy, but bored.

Just of music. I'm sure it'll come back when something new pricks my ears. I'm applying to take an Open University course in Molecular Physics and maybe go for a degree in Cosmology. It makes me feel much more excited than pop music. I also excited about the new book I'm writing, I really think it might be the one. The one I send away, I mean. smile

Oh, yes, you're right. It'll definitely come back. Everyone has a saturation level. We're self-wringing sponges. Can you believe sea sponges? What incredible animals! Class: it's addicting. Not since grade school have I been more obsessed with learning. I can feel my head rotting between semesters. I look everywhere for people who can teach me and it's harder than finding good music. Maybe it's California. wink

So I pay money to learn instead. You can learn a lot inside your own head by just smiling at everyone, but nothing tops the connection with another's cerebrum.
