...thinking of going to the doctor tomorrow. The cough and sore throat pretty much went away, and now it's my nose making me horrible. I took a trip up to the Walmart at 1 AM in search of some Nyquil. Decided to get that Tylenol Cold shit that comes with a "day" and "night" pack. Still waiting to feel sleepy enough to warrant walking up to the stairs and climbing in bed and waking up Alex in the process.

The cashier at Walmart says to me, "Hi! How are you?" in some cheery ass voice. I'm standing there in an oversized old ass Prince shirt, a jacket and whatever pair of pants I put on myself in my dark bedroom. I looked at her sand said, "Oh, well, shitty. Thanks." She didn't speak another word. Don't ask if you don't want to know.

I feel for ya. I just got done having the stupid flu, and now I have a disgusting sinus infection and I think I have an ear infection too.

I bought day and night quil and they're not working, and at nite i have such a high fever that i wake up with my teeth chattering even with 3 covers on.

I HATE this time of year. I will be sick all winter now.

i've been a sickie all weekend too. i even thought to take oscillococcinum at the first sign of flu-like symptoms, and it did no good. the worst of it hit yesterday and is continuing into today. usually when i have a bad flu, the worst only lasts a day or two, then it's just a lot of annoying noseblowing and coughing. so i have that to look forward to. yay.

Also, have you tried taking zinc lozenges or Zicam? That will help. Unfortunately, I don't think your doc is going to be able to do anything for you, if it's a cold, hon. As you know, viruses can't be treated with antibiotics and I doubt they'll give you an anti-viral medication for a cold. You may just have to continue with over-the-counter stuff and let it run its course.

Ha, yay! I went to the doctor. Upper respiratory infection. Wee! Now I have drugs.
