Oh Come one!

There are some that we appreciate for sure!

And I like spiders that catch mosquitoes. shrug

Oh and dragon flies and butterflies.

Give it up for some of our insect friends!

Interesting ladybird fact of the day: some types of ladybird mate for upto 8 hours non-stop.

They just keep on boff ing and boff ing.

Incredibly little whores, they are. smile

The insect I could never appreciate is the praying mantis. Aside from looking absolutely scary as hell, the female bites the head off the male after he's done his duty. ill

I know! And sometimes the male actually carries on going for a short while, even though he's got no head. lol He's just a skinny green ass and legs pumping away at that praying mantis Booty.

Actually, it's not pretty at all because when you see them it looks like the legs are hair. It's like a fast moving, tiny, hairy alien.

The first time I saw one, I was pointing at it yelling, "What are you???".

They are truly fucking gross.

Caterpillars used to creep me out when I was younger. I kinda ok with them now. I love butterflies though.....funny how they blossom into that. Aside from roaches, I don't care for millipedes either.

and - especially for a bug - very personable! i used to play with them all the time when i was little. they were very friendly. i had a roommate who owned a flower shop, and she always kept a preying mantis in her store to keep the bugs out of her plants.
