Jesus Christ...what's up with jacked threads lately?

BACK to the subject of "The Fountain." I thought it was pretty good. Nothing great, but certainly a go-for-broke attempt to do something different. It's more than a little reminiscent of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" but Aronofsky still did a damn good job.

Yeah, the audience hated the film for the most part, because it's one of those films that you have to actively think about...and God forbid that the American moviegoing public should think.

I'm really curious to see this movie after reading about all the mishaps they went through to get it completed. From what I've read, they were working with a really limited budget but were still able to pull off some incredible special effects and imagery.

All in all, the movie makes sense on an emotional level....but not so much on a logical one. You have to be able to completely suspend rational thought for two hours,if you can do thatthen you might like it. At very least, it's beautiful to watch.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

first film in a long time where (if you liked it) you can read cool posts of what people thought it meant on messageboards. Interesting theories on what is "really" happening.

I wonder what the graphic novel is like?

So was the past stuff fiction?
Was the present stuff the only true reality?
Or, was the future stuff also real and not just symbolic or representational of his mental process?
