My flipping lord, I am pissed we fucking thoroughly dominated a team for 3 quarters and decided to take the fourth quarter off! We blew a 23 - 12 lead in the fourth quarter. We got the ball back with four minutes left down 23 to 26! We were stuffing it down their goddamn throats, with a little more than 2 minutes on the clock! My genius fucking offensive coordinator decides to call a half back toss pass, but instead of throwing it to our star reciever the halfback throws it to a triple covered tight end in the end zone! First off all the play shouldn't have been run! But if you run it, throw it to the right Guy dammit! Now I'm not blaming him, hes been a good offensive coordinator and I have some blame to take cause I coordinate the defense and we choked in huge situations, but dammit that team was not better than us! We had 200 more yards in total offense and still lost. The saddest thing was all of the seniors who cried their asses off like babies, cause they had never been so far. I watched this group mature from boys to men and I am so godamm proud that several will be going on to college to play ball and get the fuck out of the hood, but this loss cuts deep. I am going to cry now and think of all the what ifs!

Kids have to learn how to handle defeat with dignity, as well as winning with class. It sounds like your team had a good year, and hopefully you can build upon your successes. Fire the offensive coordinators skanky ass though. it's his butt, or yours. everyone needs someone to throw under the bus

I do but I coach high school football and basketball. Man I just got done watching the film on this game. Its unbelievable how many blown opportunities we had, how many big plays we failed to make on both sides of the ball. They converted two 4th down and 15's! We missed 4th down and inches twice. My field goal kicker went 1 of 4! Shit if he makes 2 of 4 we go to overtime. Oh well, I just feel bad for the seniors, this was a special team!
