In atlanta She fired 3 times, officers returned fire, and she died. Appears that it was a drug bust, but she may have not had any drugs in the house.  | |

I'm the first to jump on the cops in cases of brutality, but I have nothing against justified shootings. Is that the case here? I'll wait until all the facts come out first.

What a shame.
A bunch of guys in plain clothes pounding on your door in a "in crime-ridden neighborhood" is enough to scare anyone, let alone an elderly person. Anyone can say they are the cops. I do not understand why they were not in uniform if they were there with a warrant to search the house (is that a normal practice?). It's likely that she didn't mean to shoot at police as it's likely that they didn't mean to take out a terrified 92 year old woman. An unfortunate mix up. | |

I'm a cop, so I hate to laugh, but damn, all 3 of em got shot by a 92 year old woman. Somebody was not paying attention. And I don't understand why a least one of them was not in uniform.
