See, I'm bad at this. I love to see what people give me on their own. I'm so not a 'thing' person. Music, particularly mix CDs are always a favorite. And I collect handbags (cute, but usually inexpensive ones), but I don't expect anyone to know my taste on this.

ee! I love to read, but I don't have any books in mind. The new Amy Sedaris and Courntey Love books Anx highlighted on his own thread look interesting. My taste in books is varied. The only thing concrete I can think of is I have a habit of picking up women's studies kinds of things (I'm talking the really nerdy stuff, not Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus ). I probably read more non-fiction than anyone would guess. Biographies of interesting people. etc.

Jersey mentioned Clerks 2 and that's a good one. I own almost all of Kevin Smiths other movies. (I didn't bother to buy Jersey Girl. Don't need to. )

one year in my friend's gift exchange I ended up with a shot glass checkerboard table. It was all glass and actually really pretty, but I'm never gonna be playing drunk checkers with anyone. So it sat in my trunk for 2 years and now it's at a friends house who may actually use it sometime.

I haven't done the secret santa thing for the past two years, just because I felt like I haven't been in the mindstate to do it justice and it sucks when you do this and someone gets you crap that you know had no thought put into it, so best not to disappoint or hurt anyone's feelings. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

OH, but if I did it next year, who would I like? Ummm, probably someone who thinks I dislike them or someone who the secret santa people think I dislike. Not for any mean-spirited reason. I just happen to enjoy rebuilding burnt bridges.
