...last night, I was sitting on the couch watching House and I noticed my throat kind of tingled. So, I finished watching House, took a shot of whiskey and went to bed. When I woke up, I'd developed a cough and a bit of congestion.

Right in time for Turkey Day.

So I've been drinking Airborne and taking Coldeze (zinc tabs).

Anyone else sick? Know any good sore throat cure-alls?

i have a friend who swears by warmed up orange juice. it's okay, but i'd rather drink tea.

sometimes i find that having a large spoonful of just plain honey helps me out.

Most infections tend to be viruses....you can treat the symptoms with anti-inflammatories. Advil, Naproxsyn. If you have a sore throat with white patches, you need to get a throat culture as it's classic for strep throat....left untreated, is really bad.
