Interview Over After 3 hours of waiting, they called me in.
The interview was only 20 minutes, fairly short - which is kind of a hindrance if you have lots to say about what they're asking you about like me. They totally focused on the books I've read, because I claim to have read a lot  - and I think I totally nailed their questions on what I thought about the books I'd read in English.
Speaking in French and Spanish didn't go so well - it didn't go badly, but I usually speak a lot better than I did. It was mainly because I had to rapidly swap from English to French to Spanish. I also only got 3 minutes to speak in either French or Spanish, which is basically the time it takes me to warm up and get fluent again so yeah. They also asked shit questions that weren't at all indicative of what I've learnt in Spanish - they asked what my ideal day would be when I've spent this entire term studying socialist ideals in latin america, so...meh. Still; it didn't go badly, but it was far from easy. Here's to hoping for an offer in 2 weeks. | |
