My Grandmother used to make those awful things every New Years. Stunk up the whole house so bad I had to sit outside.

We will be missing my Mom. Thursday is one year since she passed. It's going to be tough, but she would want us together. .

I'm not really all that excited about dinner this year to be honest. I am looking foward to my aunt's cheesecake though.....covered in strawberries. No one makes a cheesecake like her.

I can't even eat greens anymore. Last time I had them was when I was around 9. I started getting acid reflux everytime I'd eat them. It made me throw up all night or until I got medicine for it. Don't know why it started doing that around that age. I used to be fine eating them.
