They actually call it blood pudding sometimes in Ireland. Its like a big sausage, they cut it in slices. Its basically made of oats and sausagemeat mixed together with blood! Cows blood I think. It does taste nice, just kinda like a rich, well seasoned sausage. But when you know whats in it, you just can't eat it! For that and many other reasons, I resent that society has made us all food snobs all of a sudden. Back in the day, all the things we now consider disgusting parts of the animal were delicacies.

This year I will treasure my Thanksgiving, as I do every year while my Mom is still on this earth.
Besides the usual turkey, and fixings, Mom always makes fresh homemade honey rolls.. Hot, buttery, yummy. Sometimes we have enchiladas, green chili, tamales, and fresh tortillas. Just depends on who comes over. Baby girl you can come home with me, and my family. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

sweet potato pie's commonplace at every thanksgiving dinner i've been at...and oyster dressing's basically like a normal turkey stuffing, but with oysters added to it. i don't eat oysters very often, except in oyster dressing. my cousin makes it every holiday, and it's goooood.

for a lotta people here in the states, the macaroni and cheese that's prepared for the holidays is homemade, as opposed to coming out of a box with a cheese packet.
