What do you eat for breakfast?

I eat almost the exact same thing for breakfast every weekday (and some weekend) mornings. Low fat yogurt, low fat/low sugar granola and either fresh strawberries or a banana. I do love my breakfast, but I like some variety now and again too.

What do you eat? I'm looking for ideas! lol

a fruit smoothy.

There are so many possibilities for this, and you can even put protein in them (though I prefer smoothies with no yogurt or protein in them)

The cool thing about smoothies is that they provide you with energy, and fiber which helps reduce hunger, and lots of vitamins and photochemicals.

Moreover, the energy you get from fresh fruits is sustained and doesn't cause a "Crash" a couple of hours later like granola or yogurt does. Yogurt has a 75% fructose/sucrose combination (which is a fancy word for pure table sugar--that's way way too much sugar and can cause a crash a few hours after consuming just one jar of it).

I used to be the same way and didn't eat breakfast at all. I also don't eat till I get to work, cause I'm never hungry in the morning, I just started forcing myself to eat breakfast cause it's good for you. Now I'm used to the routine, so I get hungry when I'm driving to work now.

I do low sugar yogurt too. Only 80 calories in a cup.
I used to do protein bars for breakfast, but I'm trying to get away from processed food as much as possible and I eat so many meat substitutes so that's kinda all I try to do with that...
Smoothies may be a good idea. I don't currently own a blender though. lol Maybe I'll ask for one for Xmas.

before breakfast, i have some apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses in a glass of water - i've gotten used to the taste, and it's very good for all sorts of things.

then i usually have some german whole grain bread

toasted, with peanut butter. drool

and of course tea or coffee with soy milk.

not a lot of variety in my breakfast, unless my husband makes hash browns or pancakes.
