I don't really think that he has the "James Bond look".
Something about him looks "mean", like he should be one of the villains that Bond fights against. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I still think Clive Owen should have been the new bond, not that he was even a contender, but still

M Oh I am. Send it over here! I actually want to check out this film and I'm not into Bond films. It just looks like it's going to be a great action filled film. [Edited 11/17/06 21:23pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Co- that. I'm kinda excited for this one, and I was never really that interested in the Bond franchise before. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

The new Bond is ugly and has ears that stick out. James Bond can't look like that.

I think he is very unattractive.

The movie kicked ass and took names! maybe the best bond movie ever made!

The REAL James Bond character was never supposed to be drop-dead gorgeous so much as charming. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I saw this last night, per my normal custom of seeing Bond films on opening night. You know Moore, Lazenby, and Brosnan?
Amatuers. All amateurs. Take it from someone who read the entire Ian Fleming series and has seen every film (including the non-canon films such as Never Say Never Again): Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery...and this is hands-down the third best Bond film ever made (following "Dr. No" and "Goldfinger"). Craig has NAILED this character and his interpretation of Bond is nothing less than majestic. This Bond is complex, three-dimensional, sexy, and believable--perfect. By the way, to those who think Bond should always be dark and handsome, Fleming described Bond as resembling "a young Hoagy Carmichael." Not exactly a classically handsome chap.

I do not find him attractive either. He looks way too much like someone I used to be very close to and I did not find him attractive in the end either.

I'd have to say the new bond is GREAT, spot on, but the best old bond I found back when I watched ALL of them in a few weeks up to Spy Who Loved Me was..... On Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby. The best one and the most unconventional one. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

I believe "OHMSS" is one of the best Bond films ever...but Lazenby still ranks behind Connery and Craig. "OHMSS" is, however, one of the best-written Bond films and I certainly enjoy it. I love it when George breaks the "fourth wall" and says--in direct reference to Connery: "This never happened to the other fellow."
