i was thinking about an appreciation thread for one of my favorite authors, Daniel Pinkwater. for brevity's sake, i was going to call it "d.p. appreciation thread"... i thought better of it what about you?

i honestly once almost started a thread about women who are not goth or alternative in any way, yet feel a need to wax their eyebrows to look like mr. spock.
the title got a little unwieldy, and i came to my senses. thankfully.

I still don't understand the whole "pluck out all my eyebrows then redraw them back in" thing. i know, right? especially when it looks like someone just took a crayon and drew two blunt lines. what about blending? texture? contours? or maybe they're going for the lucy van pelt look, i dunno.

I've shaved my pubes then drawn them back in in big swirls with a crayon.

Lord knows, I think its to do with drawing them back in 3 inches above their natural resting place. As to why, I dont know, maybe they feel that their eyebrows deserve more status. ...
