"You should learn how to say No!"

My position necessitates a lot of this and it's something I've become quite slick at (if I do say so, myself razz).

Are you good or bad at saying no? Give us some examples!

I'm excellent at saying no.

There are a select few people who are my weakness because I love them so much (you didn't hear that from me! mad ) but for the most part I have absolutely no problem saying no when necessary.

Depends on what I have to say no to! lol

At work I am famous for saying no. I found out recently that people are scared of me at work. It's only cause I know what I'm talking about and everyone has to listen to me even if they don't want to.

But it's next to impossible for me to say no to ice cream. Or another cocktail.

Mach

I find it simple to say No ...

exmp.

Mach wanna hit this bowl " No thank you "

Mach wanna beer " No thank you "

Mom can Stay out past 12 am " No son "

often 20 times a day I say No to my mom who will ask the same thing over and over

NoI dont want a steak
No I will not clean up your mess
No I cant take the $ dad
No Jeff ( my bro ) I will not tell dad that ( tell him yourself )

No i am sorry I will not be a sub today
No I am not free on Friday and I do not wish to spend my eveing at another drumming circle

No I cant answer the phone for you
No I will not excuse your rude mouth
No I do not like to get drunk

No I would rather stay by the fire then get in the cold tent
No I would rather not have sex at this time

I'm uhmnn..y'know...."challenged".

I can post "no" really easy.

See.....

No.

But when it comes to actually saying it,
it usually comes out as "nn...nnhhnnNNNNOOooooo.....!"
By the time it fully pronounced,
it's usually too late.

It's like my mom and my little brother. falloff

And me...I have no problem saying "No."

Ex:
My major is pretty select, so there's only like 12 freshman in my whole class who have it, so they tend to hang out alot with each other. The problem is, I REALLY dislike all of them, so I never hang out with them, engage in conversation, etc...so I was in class with about 90% of them and they were all joking and shit and I was being quiet and one of called me out on it like,

"Hey, how come you're not laughing with us?!"
Me: "Eh."
"You don't like us do you?" *laughing*
Me (deadpan): "No."

and from their reaction you'da thunk I just broke their sandollars or something.

That was a long example and probably irrelevant, but whatev!

I've gotten really good at saying no. I used to have such a difficult time with it but I decided that I had to learn how to say no. So I did. lol Even though I hate saying no to some people.

I cannot say no. I suck at it. And its one of my biggest downfalls. I stay pleasant for everyone else, and it makes my life very unpleasant sometimes.
