My bloody eye wont stop twitching!!!!!!

For the past 3 bloody weeks my bottom right hand side eyelid has been
twitching. mad
It doesnt relent every 10 seconds or so off it goes. And i can feel
a wee hard bit under my eyelid which the nurse at work said was probably
the wee muscle thats twitching.
She said there is nothing that can be done sad
The rest of my life is going to be just dreadful omg

nod My eye did that for like a month and a half. Just back to back twitching...very annoying! But my doctor said it was just stress & that I needed more sleep. It eventually went away.

I had my lower eyelid twitch one time and it was annoying. Just some involuntary spasms that lasted the whole day.

the Chinese used to think if the right eye twitches there will be
a disaster in the family. If the left eye twitched it meant you would
lose money.

I get that sometimes. I worry that other people can see it as I don't want them to think I am hitting on them.

Do you wear contacts?

This has happened to me a couple of times when I've slept in my contacts. Unfortunately, one night of laziness has translated into months of eye twitching.

But eventually it goes away. It helped me to wear glasses to get my eye air.

It is stress, as someone said, either mental or physical.

I dont wear contacts so that isnt the problem.A few people have
mentioned stress but in all honesty i do not feel stressed out one
little bit.
thank you for your input though smile

i suppose one way to look at it is it might go down well at parties smile

Also, with me, I could feel it, but I could barely see it, fortunately, so I don't think other people could see it either.

I think mine went away when I forgot about it, so I think a lot of it was mental.

A mate of mine had that for months on end when he was close to the end of uni, but that was definitely stress!

On the other hand you always see people with eye-twitches, like constantly...I just thought that was something they were born with, but...!

So you see? An eyeball dying isn't the end of the world, laddie. When it's finished dying just pop it out like I did, put it in a little box and save it in the freezer.
