I, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, wish there wasnt such a thing as this Double Jeopardy Statute!!
I would have loved 2 see TRUE justice done on this man a second time around!! I remember, about 4 years after he was acquitted, he decided 2 start up a public information website on crime and how 2 detect a possible killer and he was scheduled 2 appear on all the chat and talk shows 2 promote it and he was interviewed by Katie Couric on the NBC Today Show. Well, that was the only show he was able 2 do, cos every other show he was scheduled 2 appear on backed out due 2 public outcry!! So, I guess, even though hes not languishing in prison for his crimes, he is serving a life sentence in a way living in total infamy and public disgust and contempt!!! He will never again live a normal life, like the one he used 2 have - THANK GOD!!!!!  | |

Wait....I'm confused here...
....I just linked over to Amazon and read the reviews on the "book" (which is now on sale as an audio book)....one of the reviewers said that it was written while he was awaiting trial...so it was way before the verdict ever came out....if that is the case, then how can anyone see it as an attempt to clear himself after the verdict if the trial hadn't even taken place...? Of course, he proclaimed his innocence during and after the trial, so it stands to reason that he would do it while he sat in prison waiting for his day in court, right?
