i was thinking about an appreciation thread for one of my favorite authors, Daniel Pinkwater.  
for brevity's sake, i was going to call it "d.p. appreciation thread"... i thought better of it

i honestly once almost started a thread about women who are not goth or alternative in any way, yet feel a need to wax their eyebrows to look like mr. spock.
