How do I get out sweat stains from my Prince shirt?

My glam slam miami shirt was worn so much it has yellow sweat pit stains (shirt is white).

Any domestics know what household
products can clear it up?

You'll just have to cover it up with new stains.

Unfortunately, the sweat may have done irreversible damage to your shirt, so despite all of your efforts, they may not go away.

But I've heard that soaking your shirt in vinegar diluted in water helps, and so does line-drying it instead of using a dryer...

I wish my lovely free NPG T-shirt from the Gold Exp. tour years ago (black with gold NPG logo on the front) didn't look so tatty now. It is more grey than black from the amount of time it's been worn and washed...

Make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply to the stains and let sit for about 20 minutes. Wash as usual. If the stain is still there buy regular "chalk" (which comes in many colors) and apply to stain before wearing. . .the chalk will not harm the material.

okay, okay, so I looked it up .. I couldn't stand the thought of sharing the forum with origmnd's sweaty armpits.

Try using M-30. It removes almost anything, and says it'll get rid of perspiration stains.

You just have to rub it on, let it sit for awhile, and then run it through the washer. Worked on everything I've ever used it for...
