Aaaah, try the Keys first! I'm usually only there for work trips but some of the best tropical experiences I've had in my life (if you're into the private reclusive thing) are on Isle Morada (Islamorada) at The Moorings Resort!!!! Not cheap, but worth every penny, worth saving the $$$ for...you'll feel like you're in another space and time 6,000 miles away from the cold North American horizon 
...there are so many stateside hideaways in S.Florida that are only known and used by people in fashion and advertising...I think they would be a real treat to experience for people who genuinely LOOOOOVE to travel. There are tons of places you can party in the tropics (of which I include S.Florida), but if you want something chilled out, exquisitely beautiful, and simultaneously peaceful...there are sooo many hangouts for that  Now that sounds absloutely divine. You're selling me on it.  |
