Fauxie

I had BK fries recently, and compared to McDonalds fries here they're paler and appear to be less saturated with oil. I actually really enjoyed them, more than I do McD's fries.

BK is far more expensive than McD's though. A supersized Double Whopper Bacon & Cheese meal costs around $6.50, while you can get a supersized Big Mac meal for $3.

i can't do either anymore. i used to have super rare cravings for mcdonalds fries, but i don't even have that anymore. i love french fries, but i usually just get a big bag of the frozen ones from the grocery these days.

If I had to choose between the two, it would be McDonalds. I don't like fries with breading or coatings on them. Burger King's fries taste too starchy.

The nastiest fries I've had so far at a fast food place would be Steak & Shake, they taste like those Potato Sticks...

confuse Yeah there is!

Belgian fries are the best. Not saying the best in the world, because I haven't travelled around the world. But compared to MacDonalds or other fast-foodchains... they're much better.

A 'frituur' is very popular around here. It's a small restaurant (sometimes in the middle of a market) where you can only buy 'French (ugh) fries'.

This is the only topic at which I'm pretty nationalist. Oh, and when the French say Jacques Brel is French, that pissed me off as well.

Belgium fries ROCK!!!!!

With all things equal....both fresh out of the fryer and salted just right....

Micky D's all the way.....BKs are good, but not as good....my favorite of all though, is Rally's, followed closely by Popeyes....

Steak and Shake has those shoe lace thin fries that when glopped with cheddar cheese sauce & katsup make me crazy. You gotta eat 'em with a fork!

smile

McD's...cuz they seem to use more of the center cuts of the potato than BK.

McDonalds or Burger King fries

Having to choose.....I'd go with McDonalds, but my all time favorite fries are the big thick crinkle cut ones you get at local greasy spoon diners. I like making my own sometimes too....well not completely homemade, but the Ore Ida frozen ones. I usually just fry those myself. I like mine semi crispy with a little bit of Lawry's seasoning salt on them. smile
