I worry all the time about being broken into. Several items can be replaced but music can't. I think if someone stole my records and CDs and I had to depend on the radio for music, I would absolutely kill the person who stole them if I caught them. There is one good thing about this shit hop being in style....the damn thugs don't want my music. However, I still worry about them stealing it because pawn shops will take music. Oh, Ellie. I'm so sorry, honey.
I know all too well the feeling of violation and not being comfortable in your own home - it's horrible. Just indescribable. Burn some frankincense and sage all over the house if you can get some, and burn white candles in every room. Get some fresh flowers too and put them in each room. Really. This will truly help change the vibration and mood of your place and help cast out that dark cloud that is left when something like this happens. Trust me! You'll sleep much better.

It took my Kitty 4 hours to come out from under the couch she was so scared. But worse then all of that is that is the fact that they have stolen things with high sentimental value. You can never put a price on that kind of stuff. Please make sure you have things like that in a safe place. It was all I had of passed relatives and my childhood. One good thing... they did not take any prince cds Ugh that is so awful, I'm sorry. I am so fed up with people these days. A friend of mine had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago. They CLEARED his whole apartment even taking items from his 6yr old daughter and all his photos. I live alone as well and recently had issues with the punk that lives upstairs from me. I talked to him politely and tried to deal with these issues maturely, I thought it went really well until I went outside and him and his gf were yelling at me through the window. I came back at 2:30 am with 3 bouncers from my bar. I haven't had a problem since! Take extra precautions to make you feel safe again. I hope you feel better soon. | |
