I love the Rocky movies. I so pumped up about the new Rocky movie. The trailer looks great.

But I do wonder how they are going to explain away the fact that Rocky has brain damage.

Anyway, I can't wait for this movie. Any of you guys plan on seeing this one?

No he didn't die. Although in Rocky V, in the street fight, he was supposed to die, but Stallone didn't like the idea of killing him off so he changed the ending.

Isn't Stallone about 70 years old?

Although Stallone is old (60 years old) he is in great shape for this film.

He should have stopped after Rocky 3, Eye Of The Tiger....I mean come on, it´s a movie about a boxer, how long can a boxer continue his career ? He should´ve made a couple more Rambo movies, because a Vietnam vet can continue til he´s really old, they could even make a TV series out of that, no problem but there´s an age limit when it comes to boxing, and don´t even say a word about Foreman.

Sly is still cool though, him and a lot of 80´s rappers and DC superheroes were a good and positive role model for me when I was growing up.
He´s a hardworking , positive thinking person and I have a lot of respect for him considering how he became what he is today...he really isn´t dumb, he just acts like it. He´s quite a good painter, too.

A very interesting person and an American icon. It´s a shame that he hasn´t done more quality movies , like for instance Copland or some more dramas....his ill choices in roles kinda killed his career, like that cop flic about him and his mother or those awful films in the past ten years. Hopefully some good director will revive his career one day, like Tarantino did with Travolta.

Stallone is cool.
Whatever happened to his planned movie about the killing of the Notorious BIG ?

i think it's a crazy grasp at fading glory. my parents saw stallone doing a marketing push for it at the recent AARP convention.

Rocky 4 sucked for me. Rocky just lets Apollo die. After that, Rocky was a loser period.

I love Sly and all, but damn....a VI Rocky?? And not to mention he kills Adrian in the script and Rocky is a widower??? Adrian is who kept pushing Rocky to his limit, without her, how is there a Rocky movie at all??? Is he going to find Clubber Lang to help train him in this one???

I will be viewing Rocky Balboa cause if you don't you deserve to have your straight male card taken from you. The Rocky series is star wars for alpha males. You must watch it. In fact I guarantee that all the hardcore males in here own at least one Rocky movie!

After "Rocky Balboa" he'll be releasing Rambo IV in the spring of 07.

Didn't they put in a "Rocky X" movie poster in the movie "Airplane II"? It was a shot of an old man in shorts and boxing gloves.

Poor Stallone. He is really grasping at straws to keep his career going. The wife is dead in this one. He is also trying to get another Rambo film going.

Rocky 4 was FAKED!

Think about it. How in the hell can you defeat a boxer (Ivan Darko) that shooting up steroids? You don't! But you can get you ass kill by one. Rocky should have die with 2 rounds.
