Insane price to get just a console. Not to mention the games are supposed to be $80 a pop. I'll stick with my 360 for awhile.

We tried to reserve one, but EB Games was out of reservations like, 5 minutes after it went up for it. So we have to wait til January or so. Reasonably priced and everything.

Nintendo had a great strategy. I think it'll be a hit. Good for them.
It's gotten rave reviews. I know it's nothing compared to the PS3 and 360 graffically, but once the novelty of that wears off, it's ultimately about how good the game is anyways.

Plus it's damned affordable compared to the others.

All I know of this thing is that my kids want one... each... and that a friend of a friend said that they had over $600 saved for his friend to stand in line when they came out. Are they really that much? And why?

My kids are so not getting one. They got the PSP and Nintendo DS for X-mas this year (which I've messed with late at night). I'm not one for video games and while I don't much like my kids playing them a lot I do get them things they like... but I couldn't see that kind of cash being shelled out for a console!
