a winter flower.

i need to complete this poem i am writting.
does anyone know a flower that only grows in the winter time?
and if so whats the name of it.

I just ordered six large bright pink ones for my foyer earlier today.
I'm going to put them in plain white glazed pots.

I just ordered six large bright pink ones for my foyer earlier today.

where I live I have seen cyclamens growing in the winter in parks, but it is a very mild winter here.

my grandmother used to grow christmas cactus. She was particuarly proud when it would be full of blooms, would not want anyone to go near it.

I have a little Tillandsia and it flowers once a year and the flower is there for only one day and it is purple!

I have one ... and there are tons of tiny red buds forming now... it will bloom near thanxgiving time ...it's an anti x-mas cactus giggle

Amaryllis is the queen of all winter flowers...very tall with large, gorgeous blooms...



Bulb kits are easy to find at this time of year smile
