iTunes playlist shortcut on my desktop screen? I had always used mp3s and WMP until getting an iPod a few months ago - now I use iTunes for everything, and it has totally changed my habits for everything music-related.
I created a playlist over the last few years on my PC called "Just Great Songs" - a 12-hour mix that my wife and I play on random all the time. On WMP, I was able to create an M3U playlist, which I could then put as a shortcut on the desktop - meaning all my wife has to do is click on that, and WMP does the rest. I have yet to find a way to do that with iTunes. I've searched everywhere for where the playlist 'file' is to copy it to the desktop, and I haven't found it. On a Mac in a computer lab recently, I saw a playlist shortcut on the desktop, so I know it's possible (at least for Macs) - how do I do this on a PC? I don't want double-copies of a full playlist in WMP and iTunes, and my music is now mostly in M4P format... Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

You need to locate the playlist file on your HDD, if you find what it is called so a search for it via windows explorer then save it to your desk top. Alternatively if you already have a shortcut you can right click and look at the properties of the file and see its location then copy it to the desktop. (the file that is) Then open itunes and go file, import and choose the file not the shortcut on your desktop. It will then import the playlist in to itunes and create it there. Hope that helps
