Prom court ya know, the people who were on the court for prom queen. Ya go back the next year to anounce the new prom court.

we didn't declare a prom king and queen (at least, not that i can remember )
the men wore suits or dress pants and white shirts... and we didn't have flowers.
it was a formal dance that all the school was invited to but it was held in the school gym

our parents were also at the dance... but we didn't have professional pictures taken until grad.
that's when i had the wrist corsage ( ) and the guys wear the tuxedos. lol but funnily enough
we don't have a dance then. just the ceremony and dinner... then we go get drunk
