Check out the League of Women voters' website for your state. Here it is:

They are a non-partisan (which means they don't support any political party!) organization that encourages all citizens to get involved and, of course, vote. It should give you all sorts of good info, such as how to register, how to vote and they usually produce voting guides which will tell you what candidates are up for election and a little bit about their platforms so you can get the general idea of who you'd support.
If you're too late to vote today (some states require you to register before voting day), then at least you've got some good info for the future. Voting's really fun, luv. I promise. And it's good for you, and your country too.
