I really am thinking of going brunette in the not too distant future. My hair stylist is making me paranoid about being an old redhead. He keeps warning me against becoming Patricia Field. I think I could do a lot worse, though.

I didn't want to use that as a symbol of your softer, gentler nature becuase it would waaaaay too easily get mixed up with the whole "Gay bear" scene--ask Miguel about that if you don't already know much about it. I just didn't want to turn the image into a joke kind of thing, so I chose a bunny instead. The heart being ripped out of your chest represents your heart and soul. I chose a box, becuase I think at times you feel that it is boxed in. Also, you fight with depression as I do, and I wanted to represent that. I wanted it to be held in your hand, becuase ultimately, much of this is by your hand, and not that of others. The flower represents your children, loved ones and friends. I feel that even though you struggle with pain in your own life. Even though you feel as if you are being bled at times by everyone. You still pour "your heart and soul" into nurturing those around you. You allow them to grow where you sometimes feel you don't. It's an image about love and sacrifice. | |
