Am I sick? For the past week I've been coming home straight from work (around six) and going straight to bed, I've been going to sleep around 8 or 9 everynight for the last four days. Then I wake up late for work anyway. I'm worried something may be wrong cause I never have time to do anything anymore and all I want to do is sleep.

You're depressed.
I'm a seasonal depressent too. Try this: 1) Ensure that you're taking your vitamins / nutrition is soooo important for mood. 2) Eat bananas (yes, bananas) 3) Overall, ensure you're eating lots of fruits and veggies no matter how you feel about them 4) Walk everyday for at least 30 minutes (going to the mall and window browsing works) 5) Stay away from sugars or overeating. This affects mood too. 6) Plan doing something special with a few friends. A museum, anything.

It's the worst thing in the world because I'll eat a full meal and I want to eat more and more. (not pregnant trust me) And its disgusting cause I hardly eat as is, I mean I usually eat my small breakfast lunch and dinner, and now I'm eating extra and really fatty foods which have made me gain some weight and I'm not to happy about the extra pounds that have taken residency on my ass. I'll definitely try these tips. Thanks!

It sounds like Hibernation-Syndrome. Have you started storing nuts anywhere?

Do you have any other symptoms as well, in other words does it sorta feel like a cold coming on? Mononucleosis will knock you out and make you really sleepy for a week or two.

Does your chest hurt? You may not be able to see it. Better show us so you can receive an accurate diagnosis. (Insert something clever here)

No mono here, I've been tested several times because of these symptoms but I'm too paranoid to be sharing beverages or doing anything that involves spit...besides I haven't smooched anyone in a reaaaaally long time.

Could you be pregnant? | |

You should go to the doctor and have him do a complete blood workup.
I'm not the kind to predict doom and gloom on people, but I speak from experience. A few years ago, I was going through this period where I was exhausted all of the time. I didn't have energy to even walk up a flight of stairs without feeling winded. I felt really depressed. I went to the doctor who checked me for everything but cancer, which it turns out I had. The tumor or something was making me extremely anemic (causing the extreme fatigue). A good hemoglobin count for an adult female should at least be 12.0. Mine at that time was only 7.2! It's a wonder I was even walking around! But enough about me....go to the doctor!!!!

And I hate when I have to go every year it makes me so nervous. Fortunately that last blood work showed my blood levels normal. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the whole night thing. The sun goes down already by 430 and it sucks. I need to be around the light at all times.
