I don't have a clue, tbh. How far is it from Cali? It takes at least two days to drive from Seattle to L.A.

I could tell. It was just as bad as Scarface made it out to be. California seems much better...at least from the photos my mate keeps showing me.

If you're just visiting Seattle itself, I'd suggest staying at the W Hotel downtown, as long as:
In the interest of full disclosure, I should probably state that I've invested in W's parent company. But even if I sold off the stock, I'd still recommend the W. It has a good location (assuming you want to be downtown), is classy without being snobby, and actually has style instead of the same bland look that you'll find at most U.S. hotels. OTOH, if you're mainly here to go to Microsoft's HQ in Redmond, I'd reluctantly suggest finding a place on the "Eastside" (i.e., the suburbs on the other side of Lake Washington, which includes Redmond). There are only two bridges across the lake, and they're often clogged with traffic, so you don't want to be going back and forth across the lake. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

I live here. Seatown B since 1987. Well I spend 4 years in Alaska.
But Seattle has always been home. I have been to the UK in 1998. Only London and Sheffield. Had a great time. Hope you enjoy our city. Enjoy the city!
