I just don't know the do's and dont's of like regular every day life.

So I wake up this morning and smell something burning, but I didn't see a fire anywhere, so just blew it off.

Well later on I went out into my kids playroom (which has been like a sauna btw cuz the heat keeps going and going in there and I don't know how to turn it off, so I've just been leaving the door shut). So I go out there, and it smells REALLY burnie!!!

Well here my kids have one of those plastic kitchen sink sets, and I guess your not supposed to leave it against the heater????

BEWARE!!! Crazy lookin Carpet in here!!!!!

look for a thermostat or a dial or something

and keep furniture of all kinds away from heaters. there are a couple of kids in this city that are orphaned
because their parents sofa was too close to a heater like that.


burning smell is never good
this morning i woke up at 6:30 smelling something hot - that burning hot smell
i got up, shut down the computer, walked around sniffing everything
checked the basement. decided it must have come from the furnace
waited till it kicked in again. it was better, so went back to bed
but i am the good kind of paranoid about shit like that. (that, and i have to renew my house insurance )

Learn how to use it! KEep it at a comfortable energy efficient temperature I prefer setting my thermostat to 79 in the summer and 83 in the winter!
