My daughter turned 5 today It was a wonderful day and I really enjoyed her party at "Build a Bear" but the whole day I have been wondering where the time goes. I blink my eyes and I am there in the delivery room, carrying her to the nursery like a ticking time bomb because I was terrified I would drop her. Now she is five years old and I cannot believe how quickly it has gone. Tonight she asked me if I would still love her when she was a teenager.I assured her I would but I got a lump in my throat because I realized that I will blink my eyes again and she will be begging to borrow the car.

Yeah. It's why the 21st Century fucking sucks. I'm gonna die before I know it and think "where did I take my life?" because I missed out on the opportunities centuries of no technology gave people; the chance to self-discover.

Sometimes time moves way too fast. Yes, kids do grow up too fast! I remember when my oldest nephew was born 7 years ago and I got to hold him for the first time. It seems like yesterday to me as well. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Sometimes time moves way too fast. maybe you should cryogenically freeze her at night to slow down her growth cycle
