Wedding Ring Turns Up In Trick-Or-Treat Bag POSTED: 7:26 pm CST November 3, 2006
TINLEY PARK, Ill. -- As they comb over their Halloween treats, some kids may find a few tricks, but another found quite an expensive treat. Imagine his family's surprise when 5-year-old Andrew Pappas' bag of candy contained someone's wedding ring. After 18 years of marriage, Dr. Thomas Moss was horrified to find out his wife had lost her ring, but the ring made its way to its rightful owner Friday. Moss, a dentist who lives around the block from the Pappas family in the Timber Estates subdivision, claimed his ring this morning. After 18 years of marriage Moss was able to remember the personal note his wife, Karen, had inscribed inside the ring. "I was impressed by that," Karen Moss told the Daily Southtown. Moss offered the child a reward -- but there's no word on whether he accpeted.

The lady should've let the kids pick their own candy rather than grabbing it and putting it in their bags....probably fell off then. I think I hear someone saying No shit Sherlock looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
