NATAL CHARTS AND TAROT CARDS

It's been a looonnnggg time since I've started a thread, but I felt the "ping" to do it. So, there's been a bit of talk about natal charts today, so I'm thinking that some of you believe in metaphysical stuff- which is good thumbs up!

I recently had my tarot cards read and they were FRIGHTENING boxed
Without telling my client too much about what's been happening lately, the cards told me where I'd be headed if I didn't change my pattern of behavior or lifestyle. Basically it was a swift kick in the booty! razz

I'm making one major change in lifestyle that I know will dramatically improve my life right away. Have any of you ever had your cards read, or do it on a reg basis? Just wondering what some of your experiences have been wink

BTW, I dunno why I needed the cards to tell me this- I already knew. But just to have a third "party" involved was enough of a push...

I agree on living in the now dancing jig but some of us need a lil' help trusting our own instincts - sad that it took some cards & 32 yrs to listen wink

i have my cards somewhat regularly read by this person:

http://www.youtube.com/wa...BaMhZLVkwE

she's a good friend of mine with a wonderful intuition. we haven't connected in a little over a year, but just set up a date next week for a card reading and review of my chart. it's my birthday present!

i haven't had any great revelations come from any readings, but like dancinggyrl, i've had confirmation about what i already knew.

there was the one big surprise, actually, from a different astrologer, one who does coffee ground readings. she told me i was going to have children. at the time she told me, i was quite sure that i had no interest in having children, and i laughed out loud. then she said (in a heavy Iranian accent), "Gay, gay, gay! You're not gay, you're bisexual!" I was like eek

she also told me a story about doing a reading for Prince in the 80's. apparently they started the session and he freaked and decided that he didn't want to it and got up and walked out. at a later date, he contacted her and said he changed his mind, wanted to do the reading. she said, "too bad. i don't want to work with u!"

she then told me that all geminis are good and bad, except for prince, who is all bad, and that I should remove the 1999 tattoo from my arm. i didn't tell her about my prince tattoo!!!
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

oh man, that was over 20 years ago. i went twice, and as far as i recall, she told me that the guy i was with was not the guy i would end up with. well, she was spot-on! lol

So, it's nothing new to you...do you have to be present in order to do it? I figured that the person who's having their cards read had to do the touch & shuffle thing. Anyway, different decks for what reason?

Reincarnate

Tarot and I don't really get on - I wish they would work for me but it's very rare for me to have an accurate reading with Tarot. Only once were they spot on.

I do select cards from various decks on occassion and usually they are pretty accurate in telling me what's going on in the "now".

I read palms, or rather used to. I find palmistry very accurate but my current interest is in mediumship. I haven't found any talent for it personally but have had some amazing readings in the past (as well as some pretty much fraudulent ones).

My wife's grandfather had "the gift" and read the cards to people (for no fee; allegedly you aren't supposed to charge for it).

He refused to read it for his immediate family, until his wife badgered him into doing it for her.

He saw death for one of their sons, which of course came true, and he never read the cards again.

I don't belive in divination. I think the cards can be fun and can be a tool to help people figure out what they want to do with their lives and make decisions and such, but that's about it.
I had my cards read once, everything that was 'predicted' by the woman reading them was wrong. lol
