i've just come back from my doctor. i went there to have him take
a look at things cuz the hurt is just phenomenal.

but he insisted everything was as it should be and the hurt will,
gradually, subside over the next 2 days.

so that gave me some more ease, knowing there is no infection and
that i can still eat stuff, no matter how bad it hurts.

and i did just that, lol. went back home and had a huge bowl full
of tuna and mayonaise and three sandwiches without crusts, soaked
in tea.



man i was starving. feeling a lot better now with some food in my
belly and i'm off to bed in a few minutes.

all in all, if things don't get any worse than this, it's still a
decision in don't regret. i'm glad my tonsils are out now and the
buggers won't come back, lol.

if i'll be able to eat 'normally' in about a day or 4-5 i'll be ok
and will probably have forgotten all about this by the time i'm up
to my elbows in x-mas turkey (shut it 9s )

Glad to hear you're recovering, at least. Try not to worry - it does take a few days to heal. As I told you, my mate had it recently and it is very painful at first. But it does get better. Her sister had the same op a few years ago - after years and years of suffering from tonsilitis - and she has never had it since. She reckons it was worth going through the op never to experience that again. So just look after yourself - you'll be okay in no time.

And enjoy your sandwiches.
