my very own get well thread complete with cloudy and all.



i'm doing a bit better already. although this morning, about two or
three hours ago i had to get up because my throat hurt very badly.

i guess that was because i ate so much yesterday, when i wasn't yet
allowed to have anything but fluids ( i had 4 sandwiches, a banana,
a piece of canned ham, lol, pudding and cottage cheese).

so that's probably my own fault for eating too much and putting too
much strain on my throat.

just had a few popsicles and feeling a little bit better again and
just reading this thread is making me feel all good and happy, lol.

lol, i had a slight serenity now moment just before the operation when
a woman across the room from me was telling me horror stories about my
surgery. she said it was 10 times worst than having a baby and that if
i could get up, i should walk out and not go through with it since she
thought it was a lot worse than any kind of sore throat you could ever
have.

luckily i have very steady nerves and was like "oh is that so?"

but that bitch would have scared someone else to pieces.

it. like "do you have tattoos or piercings?"

for most of the questions, she just looked at me laughingly and went "uh
no i don't think so"



and then she got to the question "make up or nail polish" and went "uhm,
i'm guessing only on the weekends, right?"

and i was like "yeah well, sometimes during the week too but i decided
not to wear my ruby shades today since it might distract the surgeon".



from that moment on she was like a fun patient.

two seconds later she stabbed me in the arm with a drip needle
