I don't go anymore. I stopped going after the stabbings one year. It's terrible. It used to be so much fun. Everybody was crazy and wore outrageous costumes but there was never any major problems. It's sooo totally different now.

Queen's Day crazy or even MORE people? I think Queensday is bigger, but also more spread out. There was one point where we were literally squished people on people in the street for about 30 minutes to get maybe 30 feet. Like the front of the stage at a sold out, general admission concert. That part was awful. I remember queensday getting quite crowded in parts, but just not as intense. and there was always breathing room at least within a few feet or so. |
