Hey guys!! Further 2 my thread on Online Ticket Agencies, the reason I am going 2 Minneapolis is that I am emigrating 2 the USA 2 live from the UK.

The thing is, undoubtedly, I am gonna go through homesickness and knowing my emotional make-up I am gonna get it really bad!!

Do any of u guys have any tips and suggestions on how 2 overcome homesickness?? Have any of u guys emigrated 2 other countries and how have u coped with homesickness???

I'm from Australia and have been living in England for 18 months on Saturday... I'm not gonna lie I've had a tough time dealing with being so far away from my family and some friends. the flip side to that, though, is that I've made some friends that I know in my heart 50 years from now I will still hold as dear as I do today.

take it day by day, keep in touch with everyone back home (very important - it really helps you feel like they're not so far away) and remember to take advantage of the opportunity for what it is

i travel alot

i never get used to it

just keep my mind on the end date

I'm having home sickness
