Yeah, i like it. It just ends so abruptly. At least, when they originally shown it, it did (my dad taped it at the time, so us kids grew up on it)

As the film was a bomb, Bashki could not fund to make the next installment. Shame, as the atmosphere was captured very well. Tolkien was reported as saying that Disney wanted the rights to make the cartoon, but he thought the would make it too cutesy, so he gave it to ralph baski, who had already made cartoons that are still a bit contraversial today. U might dig Bashki's "wizards", which is now on DVD. Its an OK film.

Disney got their own back on Tolkien so to speak and bought the rights to "the book of three". One of the installments of that book, "the black cauldron" was made by Disney and was meant to be their biggest ever movie (certainly one of the most expensive). I prefer it to the cartoon "lord of the rings" personally. U should check it out someday. No songs are in it I promise LOL

Until just the other day I thought people talking about pornotube were joking...who knew it was real?!

I know! I saw the name in a list of sites my downloader extension in firefox can save files from and had to see what it was all about. It was quite disappointing though.
