Rest In Peace Red Aerubach

The Greatest Basketball Coach and General Manager to ever grace the hardwood. This might not mean a lot for non Celtic fans and non basketball fans, but the man was a legend. Sixteen NBA championships, The first African American to ever play in the NBA the First African American Coach, the first African American Starting Five, drafting of Larry Bird. Red was a genius. My beloved Celtics will never be same without you!

R.I.P ...never heard of him before, but I have a lot of respect for oldschool basketball players and coaches.
I learned a lot from a basketball coach...not necessarily about basketball itself but life and discipline in general.
RIP Red, and thank you John Treloar...there´s a certain kind of magic about basketball coaches.

Yep, Red was a genius and an innovator. The man was ahead of his time, and helped desegregate the NBA. And this is coming from a long-time Knicks fan and Celtic hater.
