I bought the Kenmore Elite set this summer and I am still in love with the machine. It's super quiet, has all these weird automatic settings, uses only enough water for the amount of clothes you placed in the washer, and has an awesome "sterilize" mode where it heats your water to 150 degrees and washes it for 1.5 hours or some shit like that. I LOVE MY WASHER/DRYER SET!!!! doesn't the dryer work like that too? It knows when your clothes are dry instead of cooking them? Oh hell yes. It senses that your clothes are dry and beeps at you. And that motherfucker even tumbles the clothes for you every few minutes if you want it to, in case you don't respond immediately to the dryer timer shutting off. I just don't know how to use that feature yet.

I LOVE MY WASHER/DRYER SET!!!! Once upon a time I could literally go weeks without doing laundry, that's just how much clothes I had. Now it's at least once a week. 2 months ago it was every 3-4 days. |

i'm a laundry-doing FIEND when i have a washer/dryer in my home. i'll do laundry at least a couple times a week. but that's rare in my life.
sooo, i do laundry once every 2 weeks - that's regular laundry and dry cleaning - and i'm a big lazy bum and get my laundry washed for me. it's not that expensive and it's worth the money, because sharing a laundromat with rude people is way too crazymaking for me to deal with.

my apartment building only has 2 washers and 2 dryers for around 30 or so units that are in it. yeah, you gotta wake up at the asscrack of dawn in hopes of getting a washer and dryer, and hope that nobody has left their washing in the friggin machines long after the cycle's done.

I was gonna answer with,
"I go thru 75 towels a week", but I get the feeling that that's not what you meant by "doing laundry".

I have machines at home and we're constantly doing a load. Everything is instantly covered in cat hair, and I'm allergic & need to wash stuff once contaminated. My Legacy

I hate when people leave their clothes in the washer or dryer, I get so angry! I give them about a half hour, and if they don't remove their clothes, I remove them myself. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

We're a family of 4, and it would make more sense for me to keep up with it on a more regular basis, but...
Once every two weeks I'm doing laundry for a couple of days...load after load. And don't you hate that load that you forget about and leave in the washer just a bit too long before putting them in the dryer...you gotta wash the damn thing all over again. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
