You do realize that the first Red Robin is here in Seattle, just south of the University Bridge, right? Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

Its fried chicken smothered in cheese and sauteed mushrooms. It also comes with a side of fried mushrooms. Hence the name Mushroom Chicken and Mushroom

They need to put it back on the menu, it was so yummy. I wound up getting another burger that was good, but I was really wishing I could have had my Peppercorn Burger. I was looking forward to it all morning. Oh well, maybe if I say something to management, they'll put it back on the menu.
did you ask for it Nancy? sometimes they take things off the menu but you can still order it...like at my subway thwy took my favorite Spicy Italian sub off the meny but i asked for it and they had it! There was a Red Robin near us about 10 years ago.
I went a few times until the time that I found a piece of a rubber glove in my french fries. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Hey Maz. Yup, I asked about it, and the waitress said that they did not have the ingredients for the special sauce. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The kids LOVE Red Robins...decent burgers and bottomless fries too. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

You do realize that the first Red Robin is here in Seattle, just south of the University Bridge, right? I didn't know that was the first. There's another one in the Northgate neighborhood. And there's a fucking Cheesecake Factory at the Convention Center that's hugely popular with tourists. My point is that we have other options. I don't think that most people who actually live in the city go to those places very much. The whole time I've lived here I've only been to a big chain place maybe twice (with you, to the Olive Garden. . . and I can't remember for the life of me why we thought that was a good idea ). oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Out of curiousity, which restaurants do you like to go to? My favorites: www.cafeflora.com. www.teapotvegetarianhouse.com www.bamboogarden.net I adore Thai, and there are several Thai places I'm fond of (Araya's, Thai Tom, Jai Thai), and a couple of Indian places (India Express, Cedars). And I've recently been on a veggie sushi kick, but I can't remember the name of my favorite place. . . . . . it's on Bainbridge Island. And there's a vegan soul food restaurant called Hillside Quickies, which is where I go when I want greasy naughty food. Oh, and for breakfast and there's a homestyle hole-in-the-wall around the block called the Globe. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I've never had Thai food, but there is a Japanese restaurant here that now has it. Gotta give it a try, since I love Asian food. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

As for the Olive Garden, I think it was because:
BTW, if you haven't been to the Northgate area lately, that particular Olive Garden is now permanently closed. I think the sign on the door suggests that people go down to the Federal Way (!) location instead. I agree with you about having "other options." One thing I like about Seattle versus Indianapolis is that Seattle has many more independent restaurants and relatively few chain places. (Although I can't believe there's no Burger King downtown, and the one on Capitol Hill closed. ) I've actually never been to any Red Robin location. Maybe I'll try the one by the bridge someday, but it'd be a matter of "historical interest," and not because I have a burning desire to try their food. Olive Garden has delicious minestrone soup, I get it every time I go there.
Guess we don't have as many restaurant options here in Cleveland as someone else would in Seattle. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
