It would seem that my highschool problem has reared its (not so) ugly head once again!

At the end of high school I couldn't read without getting a headache, so the optician gave me specs but he said it was just a stress thing and it would clear itself up, as they werent very strong. It did!

Now, 6 years later, I am wearing them again I'm wearing them now!

Funny thing is though, if I keep them on when I walk around, I feel a foot taller than usual

This happen to anyone else?!

I'm bored!

Everytime I get a new lenses, I feel that way. Things just seem off-kilter for a little while till I get used to them. But then I have very little depth perception so everything is off balance for me anyway.

Specs are sexy..

But I dont suit them so I am soo pleased I do not need to wear any..

mind you I dont think I have ever had my eyes checked..

but they seem fine..

Its wierd, because I don't remember feeling that way when I wore them before! I only wear them for reading anyway so I probably wont get used to them!

Some people seem to think my specs are sexy, but then my ex boyfriend said it was this whole "secretary" thing I had going on, when I came in from work with my suit on - at which I got rather offended, I'm not the bloody secretary! I'm part of the team! He wasn't listening by then though

I like specs on a girl.

I also wear contact lenses because they are so more convenient although people "preffered me" in glasses! I tell them to try living with them and you soon realise what a pain they can be.

We had a salesman here that used to put "clear" glasses on when meeting customers to look more honest

I wear specs. I don't like the ones I have though. Probably should get my eyes tested again too, since it's been over 2 years now. I'm supposed to wear them virtually all the time, but I only use them when I watch TV or go to the cinema, and a few other activities I suppose. I can't recognise people in the street, and when I tried to work it out, I realised that for things even as close as just 4 feet away they help me, so I'm probably in danger just walking down the street!

Time for an eye check and a new pair, methinks, if I go to the UK this Xmas. Hang on though, they're about 5 times cheaper here.
